Install and deploy network gear integrated racks, devices, and hosts/servers.Project managed (Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban) from Project kick off to Data Center Operations Handoff.Familiar with CRAH(Evaporative) and CRAC(Chilled) cooling environments and how they operate.Familiar with power configuration requests (N, N+C, 2NC, etc) utilizing NEMA-30 receptacles as well as Starline Busway power distribution.Create SOW (Scope of works) for vendors to understand project demands.Used Bid Analysis to determine best vendor to award project.Partnered with financing team on CFR creation.Manage 10-20 vendors on high capacity projects (25 Terabytes+).Lead new scaling build projects across Europe, Asia, and North America.Served as point of escalation for Border (Layer 3) projects for my peers and contractor/vendors.Troubleshoot errors quickly to avoid breaks in service to customers.Installed loose gear (Cisco Nexus Router, Juniper QFX/SRX/MX series routers) deployments in 45RU 4 post network racks.Help create current Amazon Border Topology - Worked on creating Rack design, Recommended Hardware and location in AZ's.Managed Edge network and Load Balancing (L7) network at DC and Edge sitesConfigured and upgraded Cisco and Juniper console management switches and firewalls.Performed fix/breaks on integrated server racks, such as replacing RAM DIMM modules, swapping motherboards, fixing power supplies, etc.Installed and troubleshot errors involving SFP+ (LR, SR, ER and Extended Temp), QSFP+ (PSM4, LR/SR4, IR4, 40G and 100G).Assisted in creation of AIV (Amazon Instant Video, now Prime Video) Installed hardware, created alarms, router configuration at DC and Edge sites.Traveled complete US-East cluster locations to support scaling for all supported AWS Fabrics as well as supported international (YUL, NRT, SIN, DUB, MXP).Interviewed, onboarded and trained new vendors, contractors, and full time employees.
