Hi, I am James.I am an entrepreneurially minded engineer. I have experience and passions for all disciplines of engineering. One of my biggest goals in life was the skill to design anything. Whether it be mechanical, electrical, or software. A proof of concept or for mass production. I am currently focused on web and mobile development as well as founding a company. 2 full time jobs!This is a career change for many but another skill set in my bag.At this point i have nearly 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering in the automotive and aerospace industries. I dealt with pyrotechnics you see in rockets and airbags, high speed automated lines, injection molding, many kinds of welding, 3d printing, laser etching, tool design, process development, and A LOT more.Outside of the manufacturing world, I worked as a lab technician in the ONLY electrical engineering studio at ASU. It doubled as a maker-space for wood working and metal working. One of the unique parts of that job was the PCB manufacturing. Most universities do not do that onsite. I was one of 4 people making everybody's submitted board designs.Some of the skills I was teaching others are: electrical schematics, PCB layouts, soldering SMD components and wired. Other equipment I learned there was: laser cutters and engraving, mill, lathe, CNC routing, IoT, analog and digital circuits.
