Working as a freelancer, Jacqueline was responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate website and online store for this value-added reseller of content creation tools for the media and entertainment industry. During her time at Annex Pro, she worked on a number of different projects and held a variety of responsibilities, including:- Ongoing updates to website and online store; over the last year she collaborated with internal team members to plan a new website and developed the site from the ground up, working with a custom design on a WordPress implementation- Provide content creation for news pieces, site content, newsletters, and blog articles- Management of online database and email creation and delivery- Building relationships with vendor partners to collaborate on advertising and event initiatives - Working to promote the company through online channels such as social media, as well as live in-person events and webinars- Act as point of contact for sponsorship requests and opportunities - Variety of other marketing related tasks as required

In her role at this Vancouver-based software provider (now called Galvanize), Jacqueline's responsibilities included:- Serving as ACL web expert, supporting all ACL departments and regions; responsible for successful execution of ACL web strategy- Planning, organizing, designing, and executing web demand creation and awareness strategies- Developing and managing web content; responsible for editorial development (research, copywriting) - Definition and management of overall website user interface- Managing web development projects from kickoff through launch; coordinating with internal IS staff, outside vendors, and all corporate stakeholders as required- Coordinating web campaign promotions- Providing leadership in selection, use, and implementation of web technologies to support ACL’s web presence, acting as a link between Marketing and all other stakeholder departments

Working for this technology provider for the financial services industry, Jacqueline was called upon to perform a number of functions, ranging from website development and maintenance to developing marketing communications and performing market research. Responsibilities included:- Maintain, develop, and drive traffic to the corporate website. Also, maintain and develop an online research library accessible through the corporate LAN. Produce and publish a bi-weekly newsletter.- Develop, write, and edit corporate and marketing communications materials such as white papers, press releases, brochures, website copy, and articles for the corporate newsletter.- Research and provide executive summaries of current trends in the banking and technology industries.

In this role Jacqueline was accountable to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for completing given projects for this publisher of books, audio, and software. Responsibilities included:- Promoting the company and its products to the media and general public, including seeking media opportunities and arranging radio and television interviews for Self-Counsel authors- Developing and producing HTML pages for the corporate website- Designing and writing all communications materials distributed by the company, such as press releases, corporate brochures, direct mail letters, sales letters, and catalogue copy- Organizing internal and external events including book signings, parties, and workshops- Seeking new advertising opportunities; booking, writing and develop ads
