After creating a pinnacle business and culture at Lullabot, I’ve been on a mission to help other fully distributed, hybrid and co-located companies do this, too. I'm a creative and collaborative ideas person and visualizer. I’m great at seeing patterns and helping people get unstuck. I'm a philosopher and futurist who seeks to unravel the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ of issues. I'm a great marketer, and I'm excellent at organizing people and spotting talent. As the co-founder and CEO of Lullabot, I helped this remote company grow into one of the world's leading digital strategy, design, and development agencies. Lullabot's portfolio includes MSNBC.com, Grammy.com, Tesla.com, MarthaStewart.com, WWE.com, and Harvard.edu. I grew the company from zero to 65 employees before amicably exiting in 2017. The company continues to thrive and grow.I'm also one of the world's first web developers. I worked for O'Reilly Media at the genesis of the web and helped create the world's first commercial website. I started one of the first web design & development companies.A lifelong musician, I spent 6 years in a van signed to A&M Records fronting the band Orbit. One of my songs made it onto the Modern Rock Top 10 charts. I was on the Lollapalooza tour in 1997. I ran a soundtrack music company for a few years, and my music can still be heard on several radio and television spots in the Boston area. I continue to write and perform with my band 123 Astronaut. I also record, produce, and mix music for other artists.Work is a part of life.
