Project Management responsibilities, these require my:- Working with the firm's Principals & marketing staff to assess Design, Planning as well as Design/Build new business opportunities to arrive at Go / No Go pursuit decision. - Develop teaming strategies to successfully pursue & capture new local business opportunities, in Florida as well as within other CONUS & OCONUS locations. - Assess Scope of Work & develop Work Breakdown Structures, overall project schedules & Sub-Consultant agreements. - Liaison with Client or Agency's Project Manager on a day to day basis relative to project's Scope, Budget & Schedule.- Manage & oversee in-house staff of Architects, Engineers, Interior Designer, BIM/CAD technicians & drafters, ensure project remains in Scope, Budget & Schedule.- Liaison with outside Sub-consultants, ensure project remains in Scope, Budget and Schedule.- Coordination of project communications, development & delivery logistics via GoTo Meetings, digital media, on-line project archiving & cloud applications.- Manage & expedite local, state and federal permitting review / approval process through coordination with in-house staff, outside sub-consultants & other project stake holders. - Manage Bid Phase services. - Manage RFI & Addenda, assist Client / Agency review bids tendered, assist with Contract award services.- Manage Construction Administration phase services; attend Pre-construction & progress meetings, facilitate & coordinate review / tracking of pay applications, shop drawings & submittal items. - Manage review & tracking of Contractor's RFI's & Change Order request, the required A/E team's assessment of same (including Client's PM) & issuance of ASI's, COR's, and all other communications to Contractor. - Manage Substantial Completion & Project Close-out services.

Mr. Fernandez served as a Senior Project Manager within PBS&J’s federal and design practice at the south Florida, Miami office. Mr. Fernandez’s most current general responsibilities prior to exiting PBS&J (Atkins) included leading Department of Defense (DOD) and U.S. Army corps of Engineers (USACE) design-build (D-B) project teams as well as managing key vertical projects within PBS&J's (Atkins) federal program. In addition, Mr. Fernandez provided management and marketing support services on as-needed basis on services contracts for local municipal government and agencies involving direct day-to-day contact with client agency representatives, and coordination of services across PBS&J's (Atkins) national network of professional services offices.
