My current job title is Project Manager, but it is more of a hybrid position. As a project manager I assist in vendor selection or work with the development team, implementation and integration. Integration is the most rewarding portion of my job since it requires many different hats. I make sure a new product/system works with not only the current functional area, but any others that may be impacted. This may require a new process, new procedures, forms, or training. At the same time I am constantly looking for ways to improve existing processes, to remove unnecessary steps, and to encourage employees to constantly look for ways to make things more efficient in their day to day environment.
