Education:School education was completed in two of the most prestigious of schools in India viz. St. Xaviers School, Patna and Mount Hermon School, Darjeeling. College education was through a Bachelors degree in Zoology with Honors where I topped the University. Rounded off my formal education with a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Delhi with Specialisation in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. Subsequently, the informal education continued through participation in various workshops, training programs and conventions on various subjects relating to the field in which I was working at that time. Post my MSW, I have put in 34 years of my life in various roles in various sectors and organisations. Towards the end of my working life, I feel that I should be able to use some of the learnings from my professional education of Social Work in my personal life and be able to contribute back to society.Professional Experience:Have had a diverse and varied experience in various fields and have been able to acquire knowledge of various industries. Having completed Masters with specialisation in Personnel Management, worked for 12 years in the HR domain in Exports, Banking (Bank of Baroda) and Hospitality (Oberoi Hotels and Jaypee Hotels). Subsequently, worked in Management positions in various industries like Manufacturing, Consulting, Serviced Offices and Real Estate where held senior positions which was mostly relating to providing leadership, policy formulation, strategy finalisation and driving business forward. Also driving an NGO in the field of education for the under privileged children in backward, rural community covering 9 villages.Currently working as Vice President with Quest Offices which is a Serviced Offices Group with a legacy of 15 years of running business centres in India. My role includes mentoring of the Operations team, carrying forward relationships with various partners, expansions and projects.
