CurrentNetwork Management | Configuration & Maintenance | Infrastructure Planning | Network SecurityProviding technical solutions that includes methods and procedures for planning, installing, commissioning the operation of network infrastructure. Takes full responsibility service delivery, including exceptional events, quality and level of service, and workload scheduling according to service level agreement. Duties:Provides technical Services and support systems to provide on-site and remote support for the Organisation’s stakeholders. Decides methods and procedure for installing, configuring and deployment of network technologies.Liaises with ISP/Telecommunications/Managed services company with working knowledge of Ethernet, Cloud services and Broadband. Participates in continuous service improvement group at a corporate and Departmental level. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES7 years+ experience in technical support role, with at least 3 years in a similar consutancy position in the Public sector. Skilled at implementing Cisco VOIP Telecoms projects and VOIP/IPT network changes using change control processes.Ability to design and deploy Ethernet LANs, WANs, and VPNs, including Cisco Data Center switches, Cisco ASA firewalls. Hands-on experience maintaining and configuring Cisco equipment on the LAN and WAN using IOS command language with experience in routing protocols (BGP, RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF).Project Handover documentation, High level Designs and commercial handoversMaintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking and Wide Area Networking latest technologies by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications etc.
