Spearheaded a successful multiyear cloud migration to AWS, leading multiple teams of 50+ cross functional engineers, in coordination with third party vendors, service providers (Kinect, Slalom, Sunera), and AWS teams. • Developed and executed a comprehensive migration strategy, including 6Rs analysis, designing baseline landing zone architecture on AWS, assessing current infrastructure and architecture or each application, and building repeatable plan for designing/building/testing/deploying/monitoring workloads.• Introduced FinOps practices for responsible financial tracking and management of workloads in AWS cloud. ★ Achievements ★• Successfully executed multi-year plan of migrating workloads to AWS cloud. Elasticity, scalability and newer generation compute meant reduction in both time to deliver projects and number of incidents. • Migrated 110 distinct applications and platforms including custom-built, and IBM/Oracle stacks across systems of engagement (web, ivr), middle-tier, and data storage. • Saved $8M+ over 4 year project lifetime by cutting external consultant capex spend via creating a comprehensive training program for FTEs.
