I started the Major Projects team in Academia to add Project, Contract and Bid Management capacity to the company. The Major Projects team will be a fundamental part of Academia's growth as we capitalise on our expertise across a wide range of business sectors and continually bring new products and solutions to market.I'm responsible for developing and refining internal workflows, building standardised processes, training, and continually building and developing our capacity to manage projects of all sizes. My team also manages the processes of bids and complex sales proposals, formulates and updates contracts, and is the point of expertise for projects of all descriptions, both internal and external.

I'm responsible for the Bids and Tenders handled by Academia, developing a standardised approach to tenders and supporting our sales and business development staff to win more business.

I work in EE's Bid Management team, responding to Academy and Free School tenders for the design and provision of IT solutions into new and refurbished buildings. I work with a close knit team of Project Managers, Solution Architects and Suppliers to develop custom ICT solutions to suit client needs. I'm responsible for the entire process of bid management for each bid assigned to me, from initial client meetings to development of the solution, documentation and final presentation in line with client bid process requirements. Once the bid is won, I remain responsible for client liaison alongside our project management and solution delivery team, handling the commercial aspects of detailed design all the way through to final sign off.

Sir Robert McAlpine head-hunted me from my position in Core in February 2009 due to their need to have in-house ICT experience to complement their construction, finance and FM teams. I was responsible for ICT Strategy and management of ICT Partners for BSF bids within the PFI department. I oversaw and signed off all aspects of the ICT component of bids, and was directly involved in customer engagement, solution overview, contract and legal advice and financial modelling.

One of two Bid Managers, responsible for Learning Platform, Computers for Pupils and Academy bid responses. Assembling teams of internal and external consultants to respond to bids, assisting salespeople on the correct technical solutions and pitches for large public sector customers, presentations and management of the bid process from initial relationship build through to contract management.

BSF Manager, responsible for Academy and BSF bids for Azzurri. Operating as consortia partners or ICT only responders. Responsible for assembling teams to complete bid responses from PQQ, through ITPD, ITCD to PB.
