Climate Lead mobilizes and channels the creativity, passion, and generosity of philanthropists to address the most profound challenge of our time – climate change. I work with the Global Climate Strategies team to identify high-impact climate strategies across a variety of sectors and geographies.

- Collaborated with TechSoup's diverse Global Network partners by monitoring and continually learning about the diverse nonprofit technology needs and uses, mapping those findings to companies who want to reach the nonprofit/civil society sector around the world- Contributed to the achievement of TechSoup’s financial and social impact targets by managing and growing several corporate partner relationships that meet the technology-oriented needs of the social sector while also meeting the needs – philanthropic and otherwise - of each respective TechSoup partners. - Built out corporate communication workflow and collaborated across departments to meet goals- Created strategy on engaging corporations around the Sustainable Development Goals and ESG metrics- Managed and cultivated partnerships with technology companies on behalf of the global nonprofit sector

- Implemented a new alumni community of over 1000+ college students and recent graduates who are passionate about civic activism, voting rights, climate change, leadership, and economics - Built project plans, road maps, and strategic plans to best coordinate with colleagues to ensure goals and deadlines are met- Designed and created long-term engagement opportunities, oversaw events from start to finish, community management, managed and produced communications such as emails and social media, and is responsible for a budget of $30K - Produced and ran ten virtual interactive events for the conference SOCAP which reached over 800 participants with speakers from around the globe using the platform HopIn - Managed strategic partnerships aimed at engaging over 350 campuses and 5000 individuals in dialogue-based learning activities

- Produced all public programs (100+) a year reaching over 75K viewers/listeners per year and administered programmatic budgets- Maintained a high level of communication with partners, including donors, speakers, agents, partner organizations, audio engineers, vendors, volunteers, photographers, filmmakers, and public officials to plan events/ programs - Worked with high-profile speakers ranging from government officials, such as Ambassador Susan Rice and Ambassador Nicholas Burns, to leaders in the nonprofit industry such as Musimbi Kanyoro, and journalists, such as Anna Fifield - Designed CONNECT event series and conversation groups that brought together young leaders to explore complex topics, learn more about social impact work, network, and gain applicable skills - Led partnerships with nonprofits from around the globe to bring more visibility to urgent issues - Authored web and social media marketing materials for public program and podcast promotion that was distributed to an audience of 25,000 individuals monthly - Assisted in planning to the Global Philanthropy Forum conference through programmatic design, developing day-of materials, and facilitating working sessions during the three-day gathering with over 500 attendees - Managed two to three college interns per semester as well as volunteers for the programs department

- Researched and identified potential donors and partners, including corporations and foundations, to promote gender equity and diversity in STEM- Wrote and edited grant proposals (LOIs and full proposals) using and improving upon existing development collateral - Implemented a CRM platform to track over 300 donors

- Undertook policy comparison and content analysis of UNDP and World Bank white papers, synthesized data points on peacebuilding in twelve countries, and analyzed qualitative interviews from practitioners and quantitative country data - Assisted in administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, building presentation, and financial tracking

- Manage team of three to complete in-depth policy study on the role of local actors in humanitarian crises and the changes in donor involvement as it relates to the Agenda for Humanity - Produce report for internal and external audiences on state of humanitarian aid ecosystem - Conducted interviews with experts in the field

- Wrote and designed Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Strategies in Slums Concept Note- Led team of four to complete the grant application for the Green Climate Fund and others - Held workshops to develop advocacy language with Deputy Manager - Conducted field visits to study solar energy and clean cooking programs in informal settlements

- Wrote corporate, foundation, and individual grants and reports including those from Morgan-Stanley, Feeding America, and Google- Created giving plans for 300 high net-worth and mid-net worth corporate donors using Blackbaud CRM- Prospected new donors in region and nationally - Secured over $400,000 worth of funding through grants - Planned and implemented fundraising events including annual gala which exceeded the prior year’s goals

- Assisted in donor communication by drafting and sending various means of outreach including grants, reports, and monthly updates in relation to global state of education and gender equality- Tracked annual projections of the major donors and teams’ goals- Managed donor database- Secured over $100,000 worth of funding through email campaigns - Plan and marketed fundraising events across Western United States, including 3 annual galas, to over 100,000 constituents
