I did not always see myself becoming a teacher and coach growing up. It wasn’t until high school where I started to become interested in it. Football has always been my first love, I eat, sleep, and breathe football to this day. It was my love of football that swayed me towards teaching. I had too many friends growing up that were extremely talented and could have gone and played college football somewhere, but did not take class serious enough and lost that opportunity. Sports have taught me valuable life lessons that can not be learned anywhere else and I want to be able to teach those lessons to my future students. I want to make the future a better place and that starts with the students of today. I am very much a people person and outgoing. When I have the time I still play video games, and also an avid dog lover. I currently have two chocolate labs who are spoiled to death. I am very family oriented so I love to spending time with my family whenever I can. I want to able to change that not only just give student athletes a chance to go to college but all students. I feel I will be able to connect to all students because I was both ends of the spectrum in high school. I am still a nerdy kid at heart but still love sports, I was top 10% of my class and captain of the football team. I understand what each type of student goes through on a daily basis and I feel that will allow me to connect to students better. Certifications: I am in the process of getting my Teacher Certification, and also in the process of be certified in Physical Education and Special education.
