Directed the successful operational and financial turnaround of Northsound Music Group, the leading producer and marketer of nature-themed media, which had been acquired by a private equity firm in a Leveraged Buyout (“LBO”) and was struggling with significant revenue contraction, cash flow shortfalls and disgruntled lenders.

One of the founding principals of FPBSM Industries, Inc., a holding company for companies specializing in the design and manufacturing of Defense Electronics with particular emphasis on high voltage power supplies and related applications. Directed the negotiation, funding and closing of 2 LBO acquisitions, Axel Electronics and Sigmapower. Developed and directed a company-wide consolidation plan that included the closure and movement of three manufacturing plants into a new consolidated facility in California. As President and CEO, Axel Electronics Inc./Sigmapower, Inc., successfully effected operating and financial restructurings of the companies.

Responsible for the origination, valuation and negotiation of debt and equity investments in middle market leveraged buyouts with Merrill Lynch as Principal. The LBO investments involved both public and private transactions, most with multiple investors and complicated multi-layered capital structures.
