I am responsible for specifying, selecting, procuring, and manufacturing sensors and instrumentation for the New Glenn rocket. I work with solids and surfacing CAD, mostly in CATIA V5.My electrical design scope consists mainly of wire sizing and selection, power relays, thermocouple runs, and circuit breaker selection. I lead the propulsion integration and wind tunnel testing team of a supersonic airplane design. A week of wind tunnel testing was performed on an aluminum test model, which evaluated different configurations and high-lift devices. The propulsion team integrating two turbojet engines into a research UAV based on the wind tunnel model. The UAV was designed to look at subsonic characteristics of airplanes with supersonic configurations.
