My mission is to use my gifts to invest in the lives of others.I love to learn, so asking questions is my habit. One proverb says, “ He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. He who does not ask a question remains a fool forever”; I’ve taken this saying to heart, whether I sit in a college auditorium, attend a small group, facilitate a discussion, or lead a class of students. I long to instill my thirst for learning into students so that they can grow into people who positively impact the world. I have a strong passion to serve. I spent 5+ years in customer service, cleaning and cutting potatoes in a back kitchen, sliding spread onto burger buns, and wiping dust off of dirty mats is an example of diligence; constant client interaction at the bank to solve customer needs is another example. I've also taught and tutored students between K-12 in various contexts to enhance their reading skills. I have faced many work tasks that engrafted a strong work ethic and a desire to serve in me. I will use my passion to learn and serve to teach the next generation of students to positively impact Los Angeles and beyond!
