I lead a group of scientists and engineers that support assay development, high throughput screening, advanced automation and engineering. We support all aspects of lead discovery from early assay development to lead optimization. Over the past 15 years, my group has supported drug discovery campaigns across many disease areas ranging from oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, infectious diseases, and regenerative medicine. My group also develops novel technology for drug discovery using advanced automation, engineering, and informatics. This has included high throughput flow cytometry, automated transcriptomics, 3D biology, microfluidics, HTS devices, and custom high throughout screening systems. The power of these approaches are best realized when engineers, biologists, chemists, and data scientists work in close collaboration to enable novel approaches to drug discovery. Some of our work can be found in our recent publications and patents, but our primary goal is to enable novel discovery to meet unmet medical for patients.
