Currently working for RisQIT as a test agent. I worked at TNT FedEx in Eindhoven in the warehouse as a temporary part time employee through Young Capital. I work there to help with the sorting and scanning of parcels and pallets. I either need to empty pallets to feed into the sorter, or help place and scan parcels and place them in transport cages for further transport. I have also been responsible for the weighing and scanning of incoming pallets. I expect further training in other areas of the warehouse to broaden what I can do. I have showed interest to the team leader for training in dangerous goods. This is due to my background in chemistry and interest in safety. I used to have a part time job at the Philips Stadium for the fan catering. This has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have often been head of the bar, and needed to delegate to others what they needed to do. This includes directing them to do cashier duty, help with pouring out the drinks, or getting supplies from the magazine. Other duties include reporting problems to my superiors, dealing with customers, and help manage stock. I have also volunteered at a student bar and had to employ similar skills. This has helped me evolve skills to help deal with customers that they feel satisfied and communicate with them properly. It has also helped me learn how to delegate tasks to others and listen to their concerns to make their work environment more pleasant. I have done volunteer work for multiple student associations throughout my student life. I have helped organize two weekends away for the association Knights of the Kitchen Table which is a role-play association. I was secretary the first first time. This helped me learn to keep a record of all those who wanted to attend and any other relevant information such as food allergies and contact information. The second time I was the treasurer which helped me learn how to manage the bookkeeping and negotiate where expenses needed to be made and how much. Both experiences helped me learn how to listen to other peoples opinions and through discussion, how compromises needed to be made. It also helped me realize that you need to have fun in the work you do, and to be proud of the accomplishments made.
