At my core, I am a strategic advisor and advocate working to improve the lives of students and young people through highly engaging learning opportunities. I am working on a few big interrelated issues: linking university science, arts and tech partnerships to broader youth system efforts; fostering quality connections among teens for stronger mental health and learning opportunities; and, inspiring civic and community engagement. What I love to do is:--help university and other leaders, organizations, networks and clients build out stronger systems to achieve their goals;--offer insights into patterns and trends among system partners and program impact to leverage and maximize for greater impact;--create/unleash/scale education and afterschool/summer learning initiatives to reach more young people and bring more attention to their impact especially with public officials and philanthropic leaders; and--inspire community and civic behaviors that increase opportunities and funding for higher impact.
