The highly motivated 'Hydrodynamics and Offshore Technologies' team at Deltares has the ambition to provide future proof solutions for challenges like climate change and the energy transition in a rapidly changing environment. We are continuously looking for new opportunities to develop new knowledge and make this applicable for the industry. Currently, we are working on consultancy projects as well as joint industry projects related to offshore wind, ports and coastal developments:- submarine cables, - morphodynamics- cable burial assessments- metocean studies- scour protection and scour assessments- operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms, - boat landings of offshore wind farms, - coastal impact studies- port developments- dredge plume modelling- detailed hydrodynamics in! and around offshore structures- water replenishment studies- climate change impact studies- intake outfall studies- physical lab scale testing @ the Deltares facilitiesI am very proud of heading this team!
