Am responsible for; Vetting customer forms that come in to ensure they meet the project standards for conversion. Those rejected I ensure they are recorded and returned to the right handlers. Generating the final customers` bills on the old billing system and transferring to the new one Ultima. I also receive and distribute resolved customer issues from other desks. Other Tasks; I also do systems data cleaning up. Replacing obsolete meters with current ones in the system. I also receive work request by mails from Umeme districts and work on them. Referring customer issues by mails to the responsible People. I also audit finished work; To ensure the customer`s credits or Debts are present and have been transferred to the Prepayment System. Filling our team`s labor report on a weekly basis. Testing new Systems updates from IT; in conjunction with our supervisor, test new system improvements and confirm if they works well before they are released into production. Capturing and reporting Systems Errors; as an end user of customer systems, am in a better position to know if the systems are working well. So ounce I detect any errors, I immediately send them to the concerned parties for action. Deputizing; I sometimes stand in for our Supervisor whenever she is not around. Labor report; I make and submitted my Team`s (9 members) Labor report and overtime sheets if available. Work-Load Distribution; during the time she is away am also responsible for distributing the work load amongst the team. Safety Briefs; we are grouped in twos, we research on a certain issues that might affect our work and then we are given a day in our Rota where we present the information to the whole team. Energy Recovery Data Validation; I work with the customer notices from the field. I validate the different anomalies and deal with the issues that come either by contacting the field staff responsible or escalating to other desks
