GeoAfrika Surveys is in the business of land surveying. We in the Land ID department worked on a tender with SANRAL where we had to source and research all information of provincial roads in certain provinces. This included the following duties. • Research of rural properties with regards to ownership, title deeds, cadastral information, endorsements on the properties and all other historic information on the properties concerned – this is needed for SANRAL’s purpose of obtaining ownership of provincial roads.• Create and edit Excel spreadsheets for each section of a route and capture data of relevant document information of properties.• Travelling with the team to various provincial government offices to gather old provincial files and documents needed to complete new projects – reading through files to access which information is needed to complete projects.• Open physical case files for each property and creating a digital file format on Company Cloud Server.
