The Global Hack is a global initiative which unites the Hack the Crisis movement and the 40+ hackathons put up in the frames of this movement. Leapfunder fixes the early stage financing market. With Leapfunder Notes a startup can issue convertible notes, postponing the first valuation moment. Using a holding (StAK) after conversion of the notes the shareholders are bundled into one shareholder for the startup. The whole proces automated, easy and cheap to execute and easy to manage for both investors and startup.

Startupbootcamp (SBC) Amsterdam is a business accelerator that will run in the Dutch capital from the 31st of March for 3 months. It’s an intensive program where the world’s 10 most promising tech startups will move to Startupbootcamp HQ in Amsterdam and be guided by internationally renowned mentors, refining their business to present to over 400 VC’s, Angel and Seed investors on a concluding Demo Day. From 19 teams that have participated in Startupbootcamp Amsterdam programs so far, 100% are still alive after 3 years and 90% have gone on to raise additional funding from some of the world’s leading VCs and angels. The remainder are expected to secure funding before the end of the year. In fact, whilst at Startupbootcamp Amsterdam, the valuations of the 2013 cohort went up by as much as 15 times over the 3 month program. The accelerator is aiming to find launching customers through its network as well as experienced advisory boards for the companies that participate. Startups receive €450,000+ worth of deals, plus €15,000 in cash contribution, vibrant office space in the Amsterdam HQ for 6 months etc. for 8% equity.
