I'm heavily interested in the field of Software Development and Entrepreneurship. My work in the field has ranged from surveying for the use of Computers in the rural schools of Uganda to being part of a small startup located in my own home town.Over the last 6 years, 5 internships, and several projects, I have worked in quite a large variety of fields. I was the project lead for multiple class projects such as Software Engineering where we were tasked to create the Simon game with Leap Motion and C++ for research with the psychology department. In the last semester, I was the project lead for a Databases course to create a site using Django, Python, and Android/Java. I created 2 proof of concept apps that were powered by Django’s REST API. I have worked with gigs of plane data from different databases to create their flight paths using python and the PANDAS library.By the end of this spring semester, the Lafayette College Android app, which I am the project lead of, will be completed as well as my own android app, IOU. I also will have taken the Networking course. I also will understand the Ruby on Rails platform by creating a website for a startup.
