I have been working with Mission Critical Control Unit (MCCU) product development projects as a project manager from the 1st product, MCCU-20, of the product family. Project team size has been varying from couple to 9 persons from HW, SW, mechanics, testing, sourcing etc. teams.I have been leading the projects from the requirement definition, through development phase to type approvals according to Satel’s product development process. While working on the project, related standards, like cyber security (IEC 62443), road vehicle environmental testing (ISO 16750), ingress protection classes (IEC 60529) and so on, have become familiar.Biggest achievement in this role has been taking the 1st Satel's product with cellular technology integrated in it from requirement definition to type approvals with detailed planning, regular follow-up, close co-operation with team contributing to product development projects.

I was working for Nordic ID as a R&D project manager who was running several projects at the same time to deliver RFID solutions to our customers and to develop new and improve our current services. So far, this role has included responsibilities like:• Gathering and detailing RFID solution requirements together with customer.• Based on the collected requirements, running a product development project with our external mechanics designers, internal HW and internal/external SW teams. After the design was completed, manufacturing of the first prototypes was part of my project. This was done in close co-operation with our contract manufacturer. • Running a scrum team which was responsible of keeping our RFID solution up and running for our long-term customer. This team was also working in close co-operation with the customer on their development requests for the RFID service by implementing and deploying those.• Running development of Android tablet App to be able to integrate RFID to customer processes and to full fill their requirements on the app.• Fitting RFID solution to the existing customer processes to enable cost savings on the customer side.• Keeping product structure up to date in our product management tool for the products I'm working with.• Being responsible of the development item customer quotes and invoicing on my area. Biggest achievements/takeways from this role:• Running a mechanics project for a self-check-out solution that was delivered to our customer in time for the customer needs and fulfilling the defined customer requirements. One of the enablers for this was open and transparent communication with the customer and our suppliers.• Learned about new technology, RFID, as that is something that I have not been working ever before.• Handling the ambiguity caused by COVID-19• Representing other employees in the health and safety committee and taking part to co-operation negotiations.

I was the first IT Delivery manager at Meyer and I was defining that role as part of the bigger IT organizational restructuring. This role included responsibilities like:• Overall IT operations responsible of the service operations on Communications, Collaboration and Content area.• Building a roadmap of the current services on CCC area and drafting it for the future.• Running a transition project of a business-critical collaboration platform from Meyer Datacenter to Supplier’s data center.• Being part of IT organization renewal project. Biggest achievements/takeaways in this role:• Creation of the IT delivery Manager role to Meyer and contribution to the definition of other IT related roles and processes. • I and others CCC team were able to take responsibility of the internal IT services from another person who was leaving the company and was able to keep those alive and start developing those further with CCC team even a quite a bit of the silent information was lost during the handover process with the person leaving.• Improved stability of the business-critical collaboration platform service used in all parts of Meyer Group by improving the measurability of the performance and statbility of the platform and by building a virtual support team of consisting of people from different teams in Finland and in Germany.• Learning about the ways of working in German company in marine industry.• Learned a lot on the IT sub-contracting agreements.

I worked at Tieto in the project management team from which project managers were assigned to different kind of IT projects.This role has included responsibilities like:• Running a customer transition project on Workplace services area when customer move the service to another IT supplier• Running a Mainframe computer move project from old data center to a new data center.• Running a Device LCM (Life Cycle Management) customer experience improvement project with feedback collection and current state analysis, end user survey development, interfacing customers and suppliers, process review, improvement action definitions etc.• Working as PM in financial sector customer’s business critical mainframe SW upgrade project pre-study phase.• Being part of bidding team preparing the documentation for the public sector bids. Biggest achievements/takeaways in this role:• Deep dived into the IT world as I had not been working on the IT area before.• Lead a team of professionals on different locations and companies to move a Mainframe computer from Datacenter to another without unplanned downtime on the customers' services. This was the first time I have done anything related to mainframe. • Learned about defining, following, and reporting SLA metrics and how to make improvements to ours and our supplier's processes based on findings to improve customer experience.• In projects I worked with teams and persons from other sites in Finland, Sweden, Czech and India.• Gained understanding on the bidding processes on the public sector bidding competitions and was surprised about the amount and level of details needed to be considered during the process.

The main target was to develop production testing capabilities to ensure zero leakage of faulty phones to end customers. Development happened in co-operation with the phone program teams (HW, SW and supply chain, etc.) and with chipset supplier. Projects started by giving inputs for the chipset selection and continued with chipset bring-up to development of testing capabilities, early proto builds execution and ended when target maturity levels were achieved on the factory floor during product ramp-up. This role included responsibilities like:• Main responsible and contact on the manufacturing testing related items• Main contact point towards the chipset supplier on production testing area• Production testing integration planning and plan execution in the product program schedule to get areas like audio, display, cameras, sensors, telephony, connectors etc. verified in proto builds.• Driving Manufacturing and Test Engineering (MTE) preparations for the early proto builds and driving MTE capability maturation towards the mass production targets by using Lean Six Sigma tools.• Participation development of the production testing SW and HW architecture in co-operation with other key players on the area and implementation of the improvements as part of the projects.• Arranging resources for the project by creating a virtual team consisting of needed Microsoft HW and SW team and chipset supplier HW and SW teams.• Running phone and tester side low level software development for production testing as part of the projects.• Requirement, risk, and error management• Budget creation and follow-up. Biggest achievements/takeaways in this role were:• Running the MTE project that brought the first Windows Phone 10 to end customers• New force sensor testers and USB Type-C testers development• Ability to handle the ambiguity caused by the change from Nokia to Microsoft ways of doing production testing• Learning how to work with Vietnamese people at Hanoi Factory.

Main target in this project management role is to run a project to make selected chipset and lead product mass production capable ensuring that production can run in Nokia factories smoothly, with as short as possible test time and with great quality. On tester side and JR&D there was co-operation with companies JOT, Sasken, Rohde & Schwartz, Aeroflex and Foxconn.I have been running production testing integration project in couple of the "first ever in Nokia" programs. One of them was Windows Phone 8 project and another was Nokia's first chipset program with external chipset supplier.
