Born and raised in Southern California, Joshua started working at 13 as a door-to-door salesman for the LA Times. After graduating high school, he transitioned to management which allowed him to purchase his first condo at 19. After leaving sales, he embarked on a 2-month road trip through the US before running out of money in North Carolina. There, he started a new life — graduating with a Film Studies degree at UNCW several years later. He worked back-to-back on multiple NC productions, gaining over 5 years of on-set experience.Joshua returned to California to work in the writers room on TNT’s Good Behavior in 2017 where he co-wrote the series finale. Shortly after, his first pilot was optioned and he has been in development on several projects ever since. As a film/tv writer, Joshua’s passion is grounded sci-fi. World-building, plot structure, big reveals, surprising twists, and rewarding payoffs are his main jam.Joshua is also a tech enthusiast and for the past decade has provided in-home and remote technical support based out of Los Angeles with a focus on Apple products, software, and services. In 2019, he founded Harmony — a mobile app company with a mission to connect people who can help each other answer short answers and solve unique problems regarding specific topics and destinations.
