Let’s brew beer. What? You thought I was going to tell you about my passion for design and 20+ years of experience? My passion for the built environment, architecture, ecological design, lighting design, sociology? How I love working within the built environment to encourage a sense of community, influence how we experience our surroundings and push to improve our ecological impact? Nope, lets brew beer. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best collaboration examples out there. In the beginning, it’s just a handful of ingredients that are less than exciting on their own: hops, water, malt extract, sugars, etc. But, put them together in the right conditions for the right amount of time and BAM – a beer masterpiece. The better the ingredients collaborate, the better the beer masterpiece. Sometimes the optimal contrast of the ingredients yields the unique result creating the masterpiece. I enjoy being involved in collaborations and working on designs that result in the professional equivalent of a beer masterpiece. Brew with me!
