My work in the Ferri lab involved developing and analyzing experiments regarding glial cell development. My focus was on characterizing and modifying oligodendrocyte(CNS) cell receptor expression within novel mediums in vitro. During my 3 years in the lab I developed entirely new methods, protocols and systems for in vitro glial cell growth and receptor identification. The aim of our work was to better understand the molecular mechanisms behind de-meyelinating diseases of the Central Nervous System such as MS and Leukodystrophy.

WebNav is a visual search experience built to overcome challenges in semantic search. As part of a business plan competition out of the University of Washington, I helped define product strategy, create feature roadmaps, design UI as well as market/comp analysis.
