About Jayson Mendoza

I am a software developer with a proven work ethic and a reputation for rising to difficult challenges through my achievements over two careers and in my academic record. In my journey for self-improvement, I shifted careers from business to software development by obtaining a Bachelor of Computer Science with high honours. I am proud of this achievement! It proves that with hard work, and tenacity it's never too late to achieve your goals.Currently, I am a proud 'Systems Sofware Developer' at QNX Blackberry working on supporting and integrating software that spans both physical and virtualized environments on embedded systems. I am enjoying the opportunity to continue my growth at a professional level as strive to learn and master the technologies where software meets metal. When I started my journey to switch careers I never thought I would be in the world of drivers, bootstrapping, hypervisors, and para-virtualized devices.
