Creation, management and maintenance of a series of websites and in house systems which are built on requirement to the needs of the business. This has included SEO optimisation alongside creation of marketing micro sites, fleet offer sites and general customer facing sites to enhance general customer awareness of the groups 13 sites; a mix of Ford, Skoda, SEAT, Volkswagen, Audi dealerships as well as TPS sites and others. Other aspects of my role include development of internal web systems such as stock control, FCA verification, directory listings and contact centre management as just a few examples. These systems are tailored to the daily running of the group and are continuously changed to suit the staff's demands to ensure ever increasing targets are met.In February 2012 the group moved its email system from hosted exchange to Office 365, the ROI, planning and in house migration of some 700 staff were all carried out single handedly by myself. The smooth running of this system, as well as licence management and reconciliation on a per site basis is also an ongoing responsibility.During my first few months of employment, I migrated a number of unmanaged Linux servers to save the group money which I now solely administer using CentOS and Parallels Plesk at the request of the directors. This includes managing incremental off site backups and general server optimisation including Nginx and various performance enhancing Apache modules. I have also now rebuilt the vast majority of the mish-mash of systems that were in place from a number of differently skilled predecessors which included outdated Drupal and Wordpress installs, NodeJS and CakePHP.
