Direct the Radiological Emergency Preparedness and Planning sections within the Office of Emergency Management. Provide leadership in the State Emergency Operations Center. Coordinate a range of initiatives and resources during steady-state and times of disasters that help save lives.

Managed flight operations including: aircraft dispatching, fueling, facilities, landing area maintenance, and fixed base of operations at one of the largest helicopter training facilities in the world emphasizing safety first. Coordinated with Director of Maintenance, Dispatch, Chief Pilots, and Line Service Personnel to assure adequate aircraft and ground support resources are available based on current operating needs. Served as first point of contact in resolving all emergency operational issues during and after hours. Coordinated aircraft and flight crew recovery during off site precautionary/emergency landings. Controlled Flight Operations Manual and all updates/modifications to include Federal, State, and Organizational changes. Managed requests, approvals, and ordering of all base supplies based on operating budget guidelines. Independently collected open source intelligence on national and global transportation accidents to analyze the appropriate response from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Monitored direct reporting from multiple local and federal agencies. Delivered early warnings and alerts to key officials, and facilitated the flow of critical information during NTSB Go-Team launches.
