I was responsible for watering, scouting, spacing, pruning, and general maintenance for a section of 14 hoop houses and 7 outdoor areas. I also maintained irrigation systems for the entire department including the construction of 3 drip irrigated mum beds. Finally, I frequently helped the potting line plant new plugs and created a cost of production spreadsheet.

I was responsible for making sure the wholesale yard got watered everyday; this meant building and maintaining irrigation lines to each tree. I also operated the front loader with hydraulic forks, bucket and pallet forks, helped unload shipments of trees, tied up trees to get them ready to ship, helped load trees onto customer's trailers, mulched and wrapped trees already in the yard, and did general pruning.
