Collectively, our work has earned a Peabody, a Livingston Award for Young Journalists, an Overseas Press Club Award and several Emmy nominations. Most recently, we produced Borderland, a 4-part series about undocumented immigration for Al Jazeera America, and The Opposition, a film for ESPN’s “30 for 30″ documentary series about the collision of soccer and politics after Chile’s 1973 coup.

An investigative documentary about the death of Ty Pozzobon, a 25-year-old professional bull rider who committed suicide at the peak of his career — and posthumously became the first rider to be diagnosed with CTE.

Produced and directed three short documentaries about change makers from around the world: a Chinese company converting shipping containers to urban farms, a group of young media activists from one of Rio's most violent favelas, and a US-based company that has set-up recycling stations along the coast of Chile to convert used fishing nets into new skateboards.

Produced & directed THE OPPOSITION for ESPN's 30-for-30 documentary series. SUMMARY: In the wake of the 1973 military coup in Chile, American-backed dictator Augusto Pinochet transformed Santiago’s National Stadium into a concentration camp where political opponents were tortured and assassinated. Only two months later, that same stadium was scheduled to host a decisive World Cup qualifier between Chile and the Soviet Union. Despite protests, FIFA’s own investigation, and the Soviets’ eventual boycott, the Chilean team still played the game as planned, qualifying for the 1974 World Cup on a goal scored against no one.

I worked with Australian director Al Hicks to craft the story of jazz legend Clark Terry's inspirational friendship with a blind 23-year-old piano prodigy. KEEP ON KEEPIN'​ ON premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and was short-listed for an Academy Award. The film was executive produced by Quincy Jones and produced by Paula DuPre' Presman (The Cove, Chasing Ice).

"Borderland" was the first originally commissioned documentary series by Al Jazeera America. Produced by Muck Media, Inc. and IN Films, the four-part series follows six Americans - from all walks of life - as they retrace the journeys of three migrants who died while crossing the US-Mexico Border.

Hired to re-write a two-hour documentary on the Thiel Foundation's controversial "20 Under 20" fellowship program that encourages young entrepreneurs to skip college.

Helped conceive of the look/feel and wrote the script for this one-hour pilot featuring rapper Mac Miller and actress Ashley Rickards. Of the 19 pilots screened for MTV programming execs, it was the only one immediately picked up for series.

Responsible for the production of four one-hour documentaries for Current TV's Vanguard series:• "Sex, Lies & Cigarettes" explored Big Tobacco's push into the developing world, where the industry – led by the Marlboro Men of Philip Morris – is doing everything in its power to hook young smokers and avoid regulations. The story was honored with an Overseas Press Club Award for best international business story of 2011 and nominated for an Emmy. • "Islamophobia" examined the growing fear of Islam on both sides of the Atlantic through the eyes of Tommy Robinson, the leader of the far-right English Defense League, and America's own Pamela Geller, co-founder of Stop the Islamization of America. • "This (Illegal) American Life" followed the lives of two undocumented immigrants in California: one a strawberry picker living in an Oxnard flophouse, the other a UCLA student who crossed the border in the trunk of a car at age three. Their stories are a testament to both the power of the American Dream and the failure of American border policies. • "Soccer's Lost Boys" uncovered the exploitation and trafficking of young West African soccer players. Shot in Ghana, Morocco and France, the story was nominated for a 2010 Sports Emmy in the journalism category.
