I have trained and mentored the portable media development teams at TI in Houston and Bangalore, and led multiple software development efforts with these teams including media player connectivity and digital rights management. I'm currently defining strategy for growing our open platform ecosystem of developers and customer base.I've been programming personal computers since 1979 and do so as a hobby. My focus in school and the first few years in industry was hardware design and signal processing. I worked on the first wave of MP3 player designs in 1998.
