With over 25 years working in both the corporate and private sectors, John has extensive global business experience. He has developed international businesses in Asia, Europe and the US including establishment of major strategic alliances and partnerships, technology licenses and driving market entry strategies through new product innovation and commercialisation. In earlier years, John held several executive roles with James Hardie Limited across marketing, strategy development, technology management and general management with direct P&L responsibility.In 1999, John left the corporate world to co-found and build engineering technology and IP company, TZ Limited that today is recognised as a leader in SMArt Device technology. The company listed on the ASX in 2004 and grew through acquisition to over 130 professional employees worldwide, providing design and engineering services, technology licensing and product development capabilities to major corporations in the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors.In 2007, John left TZ and established a management consulting business to explore opportunities to work with a number of technology based business ventures. For more than a decade, John has successfully consulted to start-up ventures, public companies, as well as being engaged by the Queensland Government as a Lead Consultant on the Ulysses Business Transformation Program. He has provided hands-on executive support, business mentoring and acted on the Board of several companies across many different market sectors including Packaging Technology, Sports Innovation and Electronic Consumer Goods. In September 2017, John accepted the appointment to the TZ Limited Board in the capacity of Managing Director and CEO.
