Senior Market Research Strategist & Consumer Insights Consultant

Establishes and manages client strategies, research methodologies, and new product development. Accountable for overall client satisfaction in terms of providing quality service, actionable data analysis and comprehensive deliverables. Provides strategic direction and oversight of multiple client teams and is the lead decision-maker for driving NPD programs for Fortune 100 food and packaged companies. Plans and conducts cross-functional business reviews and information sessions that ties into client’s key business initiatives. Fulfills internal financial requirements pertaining to budgets and forecasts, as well as conducts employee performance reviews and facilitates professional development planning. Drives revenue and contributes to the development of new NPD products; participates in business unit management teams.

Identifies analytical plans against business issues for large-scale consumer studies. Works collaboratively with owner and senior consultant, creating highly custom, strategic research questionnaires according to business objectives, client input, and pertinent qualitative research. Analyzes extensive survey-based data, producing creative business-oriented conclusions. Has significant client contact pertaining to study methodology, questionnaire development, data needs / inquiries and presentation of results. Supports management of outside vendors throughout the process of a project. Client-base includes major pharmaceutical, entertainment, personal care, service, food and packaged goods companies.

Fulfills role of expert practitioner, talent manager, business executive and department lead. Utilizes strategic research and planning expertise to position and grow clients. Develops and maintains oversight of market research/corporate budget; oversees forecasting, revenue and staff utilization processes. Facilitates the "sales" process of market research services.
