As Family Service & Guidance Center’s Coordinator of Communication & Grants the past 30 years, I take pride in being part of an organization that stands as a regional leader and innovator in children's mental health care. FSGC serves more than 10,000 children, teens, and families from over 30 Kansas counties each year.I bring a wealth of experience and a track record of success in copywriting across various platforms such as print, social media and web as well as expertise in nonprofit marketing and grant writing. I've also taught introductory mass communication at the university level and written for several publications.When I’m not at work, my passions extend to travel, particularly to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Scotland. I have a huge store of useless information which makes me a valuable addition to any trivia night team. And, believe it or not, I am also an avid bagpiper, regularly competing in solo piping contests throughout the Midwest.Of course, I'm serious. Why would ANYONE make that up?
