I have been working as an Associate UX Designer at Norfolk Southern Corporation for two years, where I spearhead the design of user-friendly applications and websites tailored for internal use. Norfolk Southern is a railroad company that operates in the southeastern sector of the US, and is undergoing a digital transformation to enhance its operational efficiency and performance.I employ a comprehensive UX design approach, following the industry-standard flow of discovery, definition, design, and delivery, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, product managers, and developers. I utilize user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing methodologies to inform design decisions and create intuitive interfaces that meet the needs and expectations of the users. I have successfully delivered several projects that have improved the user retention, satisfaction, and productivity of the employees.In addition to my UX design skills, I also have a passion and talent for photography, which I have been pursuing as a freelance business for over 10 years. I have developed my own brand through my photography work, specializing in portraits and digital technology. I have organized photo shoots with clients, put together informative workshops to help people learn more about photography, and organized multiple shows at art galleries to display my work. I have advanced knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and InDesign, which I use to enhance and showcase my photos.I have a UX/UI Bootcamp Certification from Springboard, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to challenge myself with new and exciting projects.
