Performed research and analysis for the Water Equity Taskforce, an initiative that partners with water and wastewater utilities, community organizations, and key stakeholders to build the organizational, policy, and partnership capacity to develop equitable water management practices

Communications • Designed and implemented the Water Fund´s communication strategy, building its voice and identity across different platforms, including executive presentations, printed media, radio, video and social media content • Achieved and maintained unprecedented media coverage for the organization by both national and international media • Produced a radio show in coalition with local indigenous communities, environmental scientists, artists and media partners to raise awareness on biodiversity conservation and climate change. • Created contents for a capital campaign, a three year capital campaign to raise 1 million dollars to guarantee long-term operation requirements of the El Triunfo ReserveWater and Climate • Implemented the creation of the Chiapas Water Fund, a public-private technical and financial mechanism for long-term water management in the Grijalva river basin and the Sierra Madre region of Chiapas; this was the first Water Fund in Mexico • Built and led an alliance of stakeholders from public and private sectors, international agencies and local communities, to design and implement a long-term action plan for watershed management • Designed, built and managed a project portfolio that prioritized investments to protect and restore the hydrological environmental services provided by the Sierra Madre region • Reviewed, approved and supervised three grants for watershed management and climate adaptation projects in the Sierra Madre region. • Published more than 100 articles as a photographer and journalist in Mexico and Canada. Focused on travel, ecology, culture, art, and nature conservation.
