I am an experienced entrepreneur & digital marketer passionate about software & technology, startups, growth, marketing, product, IoT, and eCommerce. I have held senior positions at a number of Irish startups. With a keen understanding of how to build products that people love, I've helped bring a number of products to market. This includes mobile prototyping software, marketing automation & advertising / remarketing software, social media management software & hardware and IoT devices and sensors. I've been responsible for all areas of the process, from management & strategy to wireframing & customer development, to product planning & UX, to software, firmware and hardware all the way through to customer acquisition & growth. I have a keen interest in web technologies, having taken a number of online courses I am a self-taught coder (just enough to be dangerous!). This gives me a great perspective of how to run development teams and deliver software projects in a timely and effective manner. As head of Technology at Moocall, I gained a unique insight into hardware, firmware, and manufacturing. This technical knowledge, combined with my BA in Marketing & post-graduate diplomas in Advertising & Digital Marketing gives me a unique insight into how to build, market & grow products.I also have been invited to speak about marketing, IoT, and eCommerce at numerous conferences both in Ireland and in the USA.     Wearable technology for cattle. Calving sensors, heat detection collars & breed management software. Moocall is an agri-tech startup that created unique IOT devices for farmers. Their first product was a calving sensor that you strap to a pregnant cows tail, enabling the cow to send the farmer an SMS one hour prior to giving birth. This has proven to both free up farmers time and also increase live births and farm profitability. Moocall also recently launched Moocall HEAT - a collar worn by a bull that detects heat (and more) in cows, and also Breedmanager - breeding management software.

I played live and online, tournaments and cash games, though primarily I focused on online cash games. With the total decline of the US online poker market starting back in April 2011 and with a young family I decided to take the opportunity to relegate poker to a hobby and switch to a more fulfilling, challenging and interesting career in technology.
