With over 25 years of experience in the engineering, manufacturing, and software industries, John is a serial entrepreneur and a recognized expert in manufacturing process improvement, new business development, and customer relationship management. He has founded and led several successful companies that provide innovative solutions for product lifecycle management (PLM), cloud data management, and customer engagement.In 2021, John sold his company Upchain, a cloud-based PLM platform, to Autodesk, where he became the Sr Director of Business Strategy and helped to integrate and expand Autodesk's cloud data offerings and customer base. He has also worked with some of the world's leading companies, such as Boeing, BMW, GM, and Walt Disney Imagineering, to improve their product development processes and outcomes. In 2023, John launched his new ventures, Burai and Bura Ventures.
