Implemented U.S. political and economic policy in Slovakia. Analyzed and advised senior U.S. policymakers on Slovak political, economic, and security issues, such as elections and government formation, bilateral cooperation on Ukraine, and European energy security. Promoted U.S. nuclear fuel deliveries and baseload and small modular reactor technologies to lay the groundwork for multibillion dollar U.S commercial contracts to increase Slovak electricity generation and reduce emissions.

Managed all U.S. policy regarding Poland, including coordinating the U.S. response to Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine and securing Polish agreement to $20+ billion U.S. nuclear power contracts. Led the team that coordinated U.S. policies regarding Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Coordinated policy with the White House and other U.S. government agencies and advocated for U.S. strategic interests and private sector firms regarding nuclear, renewable, and natural gas energy projects, media and broadcasting issues, intellectual property rights and information technology trade, and other U.S. trade and investment projects in Poland.

Drafted and negotiated consensus on a resolution to require accessibility for persons with disabilities throughout the UN system and other resolutions to advance U.S. priorities on UN budget and management issues in the UN General Assembly. Achieved U.S. goals to restrain budgets and improve efficiency in the UN, World Health Organization, International Atomic Energy Agency, and other international organizations.

Promoted U.S. firms, exports, and economic interests in trade, investment, energy, IPR, and macroeconomic issues, including organizing the first U.S. Commerce Department trade mission to Uzbekistan that resulted in contracts and trading relationships between U.S. and Uzbek firms.

Represented the United States on International Energy Agency and International Energy Forum committees. Provided expert analysis on global oil, natural gas, and renewable energy markets, as well as on OPEC, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, and European energy security. Organized training seminars on U.S., Middle East, and African energy issues.

Promoted U.S. exports and investments in the conventional and renewable energy, aviation, rail, electromobility, chemical, and manufacturing industries. Analyzed German policies regarding its energy transition, infrastructure, and efficiency, unconventional gas extraction, and implementation of EU energy, environmental, and trade regulations.

Managed and advised senior U.S. officials on all aspects of U.S. policy regarding Germany, including political affairs, arms control, NATO and EU relations, economic, energy, and environmental issues, commercial advocacy, and cross-cutting global issues.

Advocated for energy production and infrastructure projects in Europe and Central Asia, particularly pipeline projects to bring oil and gas from the Caspian region to EU markets. Advanced U.S. strategic interests in European energy security by promoting EU single energy market reforms and a diversity of energy sources, types, and delivery infrastructure throughout Europe and Eurasia, particularly regarding Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine.
