About Jean Marc Alain Laurent

- Looking for a solution for mmWave and sub-THz Antenna OTA testing both practical and accessible?I started working on mmWave Phased-Array for consumer in 2008 and back then there was nothing good available for testing those design, so we had to do everything ourselves.In 2016, we started Milliwave Silicon Solutions as a consulting service for the growing mmWave market around 5G and Radar applications. One question always came back: "How did you guys tested Over the Air??"So we started helping our customers designing OTA solutions for their projects but the demand for our solutions became such that we decided to start MilliBox product line in 2018.The excitement around MilliBox is such that we are shipping about one system a week and we have customer all over the world.As far as OTA testing is concerned, it is all about choices, you can build your own, go to an external lab, or use a standard large microwave chamber, all those have pros and cons .
