Personally, and professionally, I have experienced success and failure and learned so much along the way. As a student athlete and avid musician, I learned that practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. I have always been willing to put in the extra work, from early mornings on the football field, or late nights in the studio trying to get that perfect sound, I go the extra mile to achieve personal and team goals.I have gained a wide array of professional experience through part-time jobs in high school, an intern in college, and most recently as a contractor at UCLA. I have been able to successfully manage a remote position as a digital media contractor and balance part-time employment for a small software start-up, where I helped grow their social media following by over 400%. I have a demonstrated ability to sell myself and sell products- from ticket sales to software sales, my interpersonal skills are a strength I bring to the team. I have the ability to connect with people and build trust quickly, even remotely. In my SRM degree program at the University of Iowa, I gained valuable experience working as an intern with the Iowa Wild, the San Diego Padres, and Fans First programs. As an intern, I engaged in all aspects of the fan experience. I worked as a member of a team and also individually to demonstrate my ability to develop promotional marketing ideas and materials, sell season tickets, and manage customer service and relations. When it comes to sales, I learned very quickly that the only thing better than a “yes” is a quick “no”.
