During my internship as a Platform Engineer, I was expected to implement the tools Selenium, SonarQube, Ansible, Spring Boot and Maven to create a project fully integrated in a jenkins CI/CD pipeline. During our main project I was placed on a small team of seven interns to create an user access management application which would allow users to see all of their VM access rights. I used Confluence and Jira along with having stand up meetings daily to track our progress. In the first meeting, the project manager decided to divide our project into three sections: ETL, API and UI. To complete the ETL section, we used python scripts to routinely update our mongoDB. For the API I used Spring Boot to create a REST API with multiple endpoints which query the database. The query returns JSON Objects (Users) depending on the search parameters received from the UI. We used VueJS as the framework for the UI which sends a HTTP request to the API resulting in a display of the query results.

During my internship as a Software Developer my manager expected me to design, develop, test and deploy applications that improved Rail Transportation Inspections. The application was expected to use IBM bluemix to implement Cloudant's noSQL database to allow Rail Transportation Engineers to have real time updates on Rail Inspections. To take the project to the next level my manager asked to include the IOT. I then developed a separate application using NodeJS and IBeacons that could communicate with the same cloud database to explore a different tech solution.

As a consultant for TeachFund, I analyzed their SQL database schema to mitigate vulnerabilities. I also met weekly with executives to enhance their UX by resolving PHP errors.
