Fresno Energy Watch Program - helping Fresno County Businesses, Municipalities and Non-profit Organizations achieve energy efficiency through a partnership between PG&E, the City of Fresno, Richard Heath and Associates and the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation. Serving as an Economic Development Analyst at the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and focusing on supporting community development programs and plans for economic growth within Fresno County. Mr. Carranza leads the Fresno Energy Watch Program (FEW) and collaborates on different projects related to business attraction, expansion and retention leveraging on the below skills to successfully deliver results: ◘ Business Assessment & Support | Meet with Fresno County businesses to determine economic development goals◘ Resource Connector | Connect businesses to appropriate resources based on organizational needs◘ Workforce Development Services | Educating on local, state, and federal economic development and/or workforce programs◘ Energy Efficiency | Design and coordinate energy efficiency related workshops to promote energy efficiency programs in Fresno County and connect local contractors to experience growth and expansion opportunities◘ Program Management | Manage, Administer and Design Program timelines, deliver metrics, monitor expenses, formulate and implement marketing strategies◘ Market Research & Marketing | Perform market research on target industries to formulate outreach and promotional plans for county wide plans◘ Project Management | Utilizing Project Management tools and techniques to successfully manage, monitor and successfully complete economic development and energy efficiency related projects◘ Business Retention Advocate | Connecting businesses to economic development resources to strengthen and retain current operations within Fresno County◘ International Business | Leading the Global Cities Initiative, "a joint project of Brookings and JP-Morgan Chase that guides top U.S. metros through the development of export and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plans. - The California Central Valley Global Trade and Investment Plan.

◘ Mr. Carranza worked as a Project and Account Manager on international market research projects for companies like Skype, LinkedIn and Facebook among others. Working with and managing remote teams in London and Sofia, Bulgaria; Mr. Carranza delivered high quality market research projects through a challenging qualitative and quantitative project analysis and management role.

◘ A complex research project, which required analysis on international trade compliance regulations between Italy and Mexico◘ Analysis of data collected served to discover and propose alternative solutions to deal with trade compliance dilemmas, which was the ultimate goal of the project
