Led M&A and Economics and Industry Analytics (E&IA) teams, providing M&A and economic, industry, and competitive intelligence coverage of Kohler's four business groups and extensive array of product sectors. Combined budget in excess of $2,000,000, with responsibilities including hiring, performance evaluation, and mentoring/counseling for performance improvement and career development.• Thought partner and advisor to C-Suite on corporate and business unit growth strategy. Led execution of acquisitions and divestitures. • Provided counsel and collaborated with Chief Financial Officer on matters of financial, business and investment strategy. • Completed ten acquisitions and three divestitures in support of corporate and business unit objectives, representing aggregate transaction value in excess of $400,000,000. • Served as point person in dialogue with opposing financial advisers, legal counsel, and principals. Negotiated terms of NDAs, LOIs, and Purchase Agreements, including price, structure, financial, and risk allocation matters (e.g., escrow, basket, cap, etc.). • Researched and advised on public company merger and acquisition rules in various international jurisdictions (e.g., UK, Germany, Switzerland, and India); in one case, enabling company to undertake without detection minority investment in publicly-traded entity, yielding gain in excess of $100,000,000.• Managed migration of Kitchen & Bath (K&B) market research team to corporate-level function responsible for expanded coverage of Kohler's business groups (i.e., Power, Interiors, and Hospitality and Real Estate (H&RE), in addition to K&B).
