On assignment to STI Firearms

Completed contract assignment with Dover Wayne in Round Rock. Now setting up for the next assignment.

After a short 3 month stent with as a temp cell phone sorter at Green Stream International, I was hired on in the position of technician. I have moved into the eCommerce online sales area where I am the lead inventory tech.

Provided technical support for small to medium sized business subscribers for Dell hardware, Microsoft Windows, and applications. Dispatching replacement parts when required and applying software updates and installations from the Dell Call Center Round Rock campus.

I worked as an order assembler placing boxes of servers on pallets to be shipped. I was able to move to a shipping associate position where I gained experience with the Fedex, UPS and Dell in house shipping software to ship out orders. I was Dell certified as a forklift operator to load orders onto the carrier trailers. During this time I gained experience with the Dell inventory system solving shipping problems.

• Build and distributed applications for Global Services to Delivery centers to provide Networking, Help Desk, and Deskside support for customers • Designed scripts to automate the build and distribution • Provided deskside, lab management support, and NT domain administration for organization• Provided formatted reports to management on asset verification compliance• Provided web server administration for the Support and Build Group• Provided web app development and support for the Support and Build Group• Built and distributed AIX software updates to IBM OEM customers. • Designed shell scripts to further automate the AIX PTF build process. Resulting in cycle time reduction in the build process.• Assisted departmental personnel in upkeep of desktop and home terminal workstations to the latest level of AIX.• Assisted departmental personnel in setup and transition to Lotus Notes from VM/PROFS and AIX email.
