Enthusiast and Committed ESL Independent Teacher. I first started teaching English and French at the age of 19 at Berlitz, where I learned the fundamentals of teaching. I quit teaching, after three years, as I had to choose between working or pursuing my BA in Communication. In my experience working at Hispanic Teleservices Corp. (later bought out by the giant Teleperformance), I learned a lot about leadership and corporate processes. My prior experience working for Mundolatino and Mexico-Mágico Festivals in France, which taught me a lot about logistics and becoming an instant problem solver, led me to climb out of the regular Customer Service booth, into HR as the Coordinator of the Company's private events. But studying a BA in Communication made me love even more my ability to speak English, French and Spanish. As I grew up in a house where we all communicated, watched shows, listened to music, became familiar with comedy in 3 different languages, it became evident to me that language is just like gastronomy. Every language has it's own taste, flavour, and creativity, and being able to enjoy it is a blessing! Who wouldn't want to share such gift?

But wether my classes are in person or online, I use a lot of digital tools to help my students practice as much and in a gradual way. The tools I mostly use are Kahoot, Google Quizz, and Quizlet, helping me make my classes more interactive and easier for my students to gain skills and confidence in themselves.I take my work very seriously and I am very committed to my students. I’m always looking for better tools to help them learn, and I’m very sensitive to my students’ needs. I always over prepare scaled exercises to avoid them the frustration to solve problems that seem out of their reach, and instead make them progressively achieve results. Punctuality is also a sign of my commitment to them, which is why my objetive is to always be ready for class 5-10 min before it starts.I particularly enjoy connecting with my students, and being able to make them and see them walk towards their goals is very gratifying. As a fast growing company, and having such a diverse portfolio of clients, we were frequently visited and more than once we managed different client visits simultaneously. I was the guy for our clients to go to when they needed anything during their stay, and I was proud to be able to help and assist them as much as I could. It was a very exciting job and enjoyed it for as long as I was there. Show less -

I organized events such as the Health Week, Halloween costume contests, Soccer tournaments, Mexican Independence celebrations or the Annual Employee Awards Ceremony amongst others with one objective in mind which was to promote the company’s values while making it fun for everyone to work there.I truly enjoyed overcoming the challenges that I encountered on my way, specially once the results were shown in the pictures of many smiles on the many faces of the employees that took part in the events. Since I was the 1st Employee Services Coordinator, I was proud to have opened the way for the Coordinators that came after me. Show less -
