Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement customized educational solutions tailored to client needs with focuses on aligning curriculum development with organizational goals, developing and promoting teaching methods and materials that respect and incorporate students' cultural backgrounds, and supporting curriculum with the appropriate resources and skills to help Black and Brown students engage more deeply with the content

Responsible for instructing students about the structure and content of the English language and Writing including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar, sentence structure, writing, and studying of various kinds of literature. Instruct students on interpreting literature and poetry, assign books to read, including classics and contemporary novels, provide background on authors' life and works, teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.Teach about different literary styles, create instructional resources for use in the classroom, plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities, create positive educational climate for students to learn in, meet course and school-wide student performance goals, participate in ongoing training sessions, create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year, maintain grade books, grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.Potentially write grant proposals to gain funding for further research, create projects designed to enhance lectures, read and stay abreast of current topics in education, create lesson plans, utilize various curriculum resources, integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans, utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.Develop incentives to keep participants in class, develop professional relationships with other agencies and programs, utilize public library resources, work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met, tutor students on an individual basis, establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities, prepare and distribute required reports, observe and evaluate student's performance, manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.

My responsibilities as an ELA tutor include: -crafting lessons that mirror skills needed for school assignments-working with individuals and small groups of students in school or online settings. -instructing students-answering to their inquiries, -helping with papers and exam preparation-building confidence. As an English tutor I demonstrate excellent English language skills, patience, instructional abilities, communication and problem-solving orientation.

Self-published my first YA/Romance novel in 2013.Wrote, edited, and formatted most of the manuscript on my own to then pass off to iUniverse for publishing.

I am educated well and teach through different playing techniques. I help develop skills in the art of piano playing.

My passion for reading inspires me to provide best-in-class customer service to those who visit our store. I truly love being surrounded by great books and the latest devices . I relish the opportunity to talk about our thoughtfully curated selection of books with our customers and the rest of the team. My authentic personal style and deep knowledge of the store to create a memorable, tailor-made customer experience. Always face-to-face with customers, I understand the significance of this opportunity to work at such a wonderful place. I'm usually right a lot when it comes to reading customers and don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach to create a great customer experience. I warmly welcome anyone who visits the store, am flexible, think on my feet, and exercise great judgment in handling unusual requests or difficult customer interactions.

I worked for Ryan Newhall for the Summer of 2016. I built his website for him and maintained the office in the mornings during the weekdays. I answered phone calls, and was available for all office needs.
