Responsible Areas: DNT, SAC, CTO, TDA2 As the mechanical asset engineer for the responsible areas, James implemented preventative maintenance plans that would reduce unplanned failure events on mechanical equipment, saving on average $110,000 per unplanned failure. He was responsible for scope development of small capital projects which reduced production loss, increased safety, and increased unit reliability. Additionally, he identified and created functional locations and drawings for mechanical equipment and PCT instruments on various skid units allowing the maintenance and operations team to have accurate reference resources. He also managed the replacement and repair of critical pieces of equipment including glass-lined vessels, reactors, and stacks.
